Just yesterday my latest column in Planet S in Saskatoon ran. It is a run down on some new beer offerings this spring in Saskatchewan. I highlight three new entrants in the column – Paddock Wood’s Maibock, Raasted’s new selections and the introduction of Edmonton’s Amber’s Australian Mountain Pepper Berry into the Saskatchewan market.
For regular onbeer.org readers, I have already written about the first two here (see, you do get advance news by stopping by), and the third is a new pronouncement. Amber’s just a few weeks ago got permission from the SLGA to stock their Pepper Berry. This is an important advance for the diminutive Amber’s, as the guaranteed province-wide distribution that comes with government liquor commissions can be a very positive thing.
Plus the article expands upon the review of Paddock Wood’s Maibock, if you are interested. Read the column here.
